How to Turn off Laptop

1. Save your work and close all your programs.
2. Click the Start button.
3. In Windows Vista, click the right-pointing triangle next to the padlock icon.
4. Choose the Shut Down menu item.
5. In Windows XP, click the Turn Off Computer button.
6. Click the Turn Off button.
